Scotland in Image and Story

Release the Writer in You

Have you written a story and you want to share it with the outside world? A family history perhaps, a novel or even the history of your business or town or locality?

Are you ready to take the next step?

imageworlds can help you. We will be conducting a seminar in Toowoomba in October on the Pleasures, Perils, Pitfalls and Profits of writing, self publishing and marketing your work; and then in selected towns on The New England Highway.

Details of venue, date and time will be announced soon.

You can contact Drew Grozier of imageworlds on 0458165446 or email drew@outbackscotland.com.au for further information or to talk about your work in progress. A one hour consultation over coffee at The Rendevouz Cafe in Ruthven Street is free.

Heritage

Drew Grozier of imageworlds has returned from a three year stay in Scotland with a few hundred more images of the old country for our gallery, two new Scottish historical novels, Blood Heritage and its sequel Blood Armour and an Australian travel romance, Scotch on the Bitumen, now available from all quality bookshops around the world and from Amazons bookstore. We will also let our readers sample a few chapters of Blood Heritage where you can find out if Drew Grozier has uncovered the true Arthur of the Battles. The first draft of The Umbrella Company is also complete. This is an explosive family drama set in modern Scotland and Queensland. The repercussions when this book is published may see the author barred forever from returning to his native home.

Our website has been redesigned for easier navigation and we have kept adverts to a minimum. Sometime in 2010 we will begin hitting the Arts and Crafts Markets on the Darling Downs. If you like a fun reality shopping experience come and visit our store; we will post dates and times and markets on this website when we have settled these details.

You can also discover your family surname history, your tartan, clan crest, the whereabouts of your clan lands and homelands in photograph and story. Or buy a block mounted family history certificate, a gift with a difference. We hope you enjoy the site.

Please contact us with any comments on site design, product presentation, the images or questions on the source or history of any Scottish family name; or even to disagree with our take on Scotland and its people.
